Collection of data from website visits

The Provider collects data from each visit to its website (server log files). This access data includes the name of the website visited, the data file, date and time of the visit, volume of data transmitted, notification of a successful visit, browser type and version, the User’s operating system, URL of the referring site (the website visited before), IP address and the enquiring provider.
In accordance with statutory requirements, the Provider uses this protocol data without assigning it to the User or to any other profiling only for statistical analyses to assist in the operation, security and optimisation of the website. However, the Provider reserves the right to subsequently review the protocol data, if there is concrete evidence to justify the suspicion of illegal use.

Collection and use of personal data

The Provider shall only collect personal data, when this is permitted by law, or the Users consent to the data being collected. It is usually clear to the Users using the service which data is stored, for example name, email address and message, when using the order form.
The personal data given for the purpose of ordering goods (such as name, email address, address, payment data) shall be used by the Seller for the completion and execution of the contract. This data shall be treated in confidence, encrypted for transmission and shall not be passed to third parties who are not party to the ordering, delivery or payment process.
When the Provider is contacted (using the contact form or email) the User’s information is stored for the purpose of processing the query or for the case that supplementary questions arise.
The Provider has taken administrative, contractual and technical precautions to ensure the provisions of the Data Protection Act are complied with and accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons are prevented.

Passing of data to third parties

User data is only passed to third parties, when this is permitted by law or a User has consented to its being passed on.
This is the case, for example, when the passing on of data enables the contractual obligations to the User to be fulfilled and the postal address is passed to a freight forwarding company following an order from the online shop. Or in the case that the data is requested by appropriate authorities such as law enforcement agencies.
The User’s personal data shall never be sold or passed to third parties for the purpose of advertising or the creation of user profiles.


The Provider uses cookies on his website. Cookies are small files, that are downloaded onto the User’s computer and can store information for the Provider. Temporary cookies are deleted when the browser is closed, permanent cookies remain for a given period and can provide stored information, when the website is visited again.
One thing cookies are used for is to make it easier to use the service. For example, a cookie stores the User’s shopping basket status.
The User can control the use of cookies. Most browsers provide an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. The Provider has tried to design the website so that the use of cookies is not necessary. Use of Facebook social plugins

The content of the plugins is transmitted by Facebook directly to the User’s browser and integrated into the website by his browser. Therefore the Provider has no control over the extent of the data Facebook collects with these plugins and accordingly informs Users on the basis of his current knowledge: Through the integration of plugins, Facebook is notified that a User has visited the relevant page of the website. If the User is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. When a User interacts with the plugins, for example, clicking on the Like button or leaving a comment, the relevant information is transmitted direct to Facebook and stored there. In the case that a User is not a member of Facebook, there is nonetheless the chance that Facebook can find out and store his IP address. According to Facebook, in Germany only an anonymised IP address is stored.

If a User is a member of Facebook and does not wish Facebook to collect data about him via this website and to connect that data to the membership data stored on him by Facebook, he must log out of Facebook and delete the relevant Facebook cookies before visiting our website. Use of Twitter buttons

Twitter buttons are used on this website. These buttons (e.g. Tweet or Follow) are provided by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When a User visits a website for this Provider containing such a button, his browser establishes a direct connection with the Twitter servers. The content of the twitter button is transmitted by Twitter directly to the User’s browser. Therefore the Provider has no control over the extent of the data Twitter collects with these plugins and accordingly informs Users on the basis of his current knowledge. According to Twitter, only the User’s IP address and the URL of the relevant website are transmitted when these buttons are activated, and are used for no other purpose than displaying the button. Cancellation, changes, corrections and updates

Furthermore he has the right to correct incorrect data, to block and delete his personal data, provided there is no legal obligation to retain such data.
